Notes on Arch Linux after one month

After one month of using Arch Linux instead of Debian or Fedora, I can say I like the fact that this distribution promotes DIY computing. I have written various aliases that help me manage and administer it more easily and do streamline the administration process. I also have improved my knowledge of services and their management with systemctl by reading the Arch wiki.

I like the fact I have easier access to recent versions of software projects. I also like development with Arch Linux as I can easily install programs like Visual Studio code with Arch's AURs.

I still prefer CentOS and Debian for server systems, however, I plan to use Arch Linux on personal systems for years to come.
